Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 "Big Boy" Locomotive. This is my first epic project for a client that I had printed out at 1/15th scale. It took over 700 hours to draw it and over 1000 hours to print. The printed model is over 6ft long and over 500 pieces. This is the Solidworks parts version of my model posted on Thingiverse.To remove the tender body shell, remove the 4 body mounting screws shown below. Separate the tender chassis from the body, being careful with the wiring. Reassemble in reverse order.
