There is no hull number so from what I can determine that means the canoe pre-dates 1972. Marathon Boats can provide no additional information. The serial is 1333-GM-5-17. What I can determine from internet searches is that -5- indicates .50 aluminum hull thickness and -17 indicates 17' long.
