I'm just guessing btw since I don't have one, but steam OS the default OS for the steam deck is linux based so most pirated games (which are usually made for windows) won't work unless you can somehow use wine (windows compatibility layer) or a similar software on steam OS and even if you do get it running, using a compatibility layer usually results in a lot of glitches you have to manually fix.
