Most of the 9mm handguns are too big to pocket carry. If you want to pocket carry the LCP is your best choice. If you decide you want something the size of a EC9s I would upgrade to a Shield for just a little more. The Shield has been on sale at PSA $299 and is a much nicer handgun. I have a LC9S Pro.

Single-Sixer. Well, the sights on the EC9s are machined into the top of the slide and therefore are fixed making it cheaper to manufacture. Both the LC9s and EC9s list the finish as "Black Oxide". I suspect the slide is polished a bit more before the finish is applied but I'm just guessing. So, other than the sights they are the same pistol.

The trigger pull on my EC9s was very nice. I don't have a trigger gauge, but its probably 1/2-3/4 the pull of my moderately broken in LCP.

The reason the Shield EZ models are easier to rack is that they have longer barrels, and therefore longer recoil springs; hence they are lighter springs.
