The Water Taxi is one of my favorite things about Laughlin. Very affordable, convenient and so unique. We left our hotel, Harrahs, about noon and took it to the Riverside. The water is very low (Feb 2017) and makes the ramp raise perhaps 60 to 100 feet from water level to entrance ways for hotels. The entrance onto the taxis is also narrow but I am sure it has been set to accommodate wheelchairs and stay ADA compliant.
