The corpse is burned in the fire. Due to the fact that there are many zombies in the game, I have limited the amount of fuel which is given from burning a corpse. The reason is, that with every corpse the fire gets hotter and the corpse will burn faster, so they add less fuel to the fire. For campfires the max value is near 20 game hours
