The beam will go 450 yards and will easily make out an area if it's dark enough. My dad actually stole my pocket sized LED flashlight. That thing went about 100 to 200 yards easy. If you are okay with smaller, or don’t need the power of an 18650 light, the Prometheus Beta QRV2 UV is a very stylish, and very good UV light in the AAA family.
