Baffle strikes

A baffle strike won't be a uniform shape and at a calculated size. Since it will be irregular, there is no universal answer to your questions. It could be close to matching intentional clips and potentially improve performance, or it could totally destroy performance and throw the POI way off.

Baffle strikes. At 100 yards, it impacts about 1-2 inches right and 2-6 inches low. I'm using a Bergara HMR with 175 SMK and can reasonably stack groups sub-MOA without the can. Out of frustration we continued to shoot the 147 nato round after re-attaching the can and inspecting the unfired rounds. We continuously missed the target we were using to zero. The surefire rep who I spoke with said this means we were still having baffle strikes if we were still missing. I'm a little lost and searching for insight.
