So I had prodromal labor for nearly 3 weeks this past pregnancy (gave birth about 8 weeks ago), starting at around 36+4. I was having actual contractions as well, and did dilate to 2 cm, but basically continued having on and off contractions without much dilation progress till the real deal.With my 2nd I was 3 cm and about 60% effaced at 36 weeks. Stayed that way until I was induced at 38 weeks 3 days. That morning I had changed to 4cm and about 80% effaced.
