What no one has mentioned yet is the tech upgrades you get from derelict freighter missions are class locked by system. What that means is if you do a derelict freighter mission in a system and you get a B-class tech upgrade, while it's random which tech upgrade you'll get (i.e. fuel efficiency, hyperdrive, combat, exploration, mining, trading), you'll only ever see them as B-class. As of v4.05 Exosuit is 60 Tech, 120 Cargo. Previously in 4.04 (which the Switch has right now) you could go up to 100 Tech slots, but 4.05 dialed it back to 60. I had 65 Tech in 4.04 and it was reduced to 60. That's a heads up to Switch users NOT to upgrade past 60 tech, btw.
